Chicken Pie anyone?

I cooked the chicken fillings, colourful isn't it?

To avoid shrinkage, used toothpick or folk to poke holes at the bottom of the pastry to allow steam to escape.

Stuff in the fillings and cover it up.

Baked till golden brown.

Tada-Ready to eat!

My first time baking chicken pie and it turns out to be really really nice! Love is working now and I'm going to bring some for him later. Nobody at home except dad who came home in the afternoon. I woke up pretty early and find myself alone at home, so I went down to the wet market to get some of my ingredients. I have not been to wet market since ages, i used to follow my mum to the market every Sunday morning. After since I start working she never ask me to tag along.
Now i know why parents and grandparents loves to go wet market, the things there are really cheap. So i took my time and stroll around, thinking what can i buy, it's quite smelly though.
I'm so proud to say that i teaches my dad to cook maggie mee today! His too pampered by my mum seriously. As i said no one is at home so nobody cook and we doesn't like to eat out. So dad, time to learn how to cook some basic dishes! It's a life saving skill, hahaha:)
